while im unable to work ive been spending my time rebuilding a new engine:D even though i dont own a renault anymore i cant seem to help myself:cartman:

anyway my question is what are the piper verniers like?

as im certain that ive heard in the past that the bolts have to be ground down for the timing cover to fit.? correct me if im wrong!

or alternatively what other verniers are on the market that dont require such faffing around with.?

im still undecided on what cam to go for, pipers 285 or the kent rt200? i know catcams are good but ive got no idea what there equivalent cam is?

i think its the main center bolt that people have had clipping the cover, grind the top off or change the bolt.. thats it..

i've never heard any other issues..:)

I fitted a piper pully on my engine build, all I did was use the thicker cork timing cover gasket, had no problems with knocking at all;-)

Also, what should i torque the 4 vernier pully bolts up to.?
i dont want to end up over torquing them.

I had the gt tuning timing cover and never had any problems with any bolts
