I've put my new seats in but the front fixing bolt nuts that are in the subframe are just spinning so anyone know of an alternative? Cheers matt

you can use a normal nut, make a slit in the carpet and you will be able to get a spanner in there, if it was me i'd get some new captive nuts from renault they must only be a few quid they just drop in and clip in place iirc

Yeah the ones you bolt to the car, do you have a part number for the nuts :)

have had a look under the carpet to see whats going on, why not just get a couple new nuts

i had the same problem and made some special fittings i may have some left in my shed ill have a look 2mora for you bud.:)

Lucky for me i had my carpet out, so my dad drilled two holes in a length of flat steel then welded two nuts underneath the holes. This then slots under the seat bar thats raised up from the floor. Secure the bar in the middle with a self taper or another nut and bolt and put the carpet back and you got two new captive nuts that have no way of spinning out or coming loose. Just make sure you line everything up.
