let's get one thing right I havent been asked or pm to help anyone out also I havent said to anyone that I wouldn't if I could then i would have also if I was asked or pm and I could help I would do even if that ment I didn't get the money I wanted or would have give a item away if I wanted to I even went off my own back to try and sort out about the Renault 5 outer sills from the contact I have I even offered the info to start a group buy to anyone that wanted to take it up I also at the sametime haven't forced anyone to buy from me nor muged anyone off weather it be on here or eBay I have listed the gear knob as it is and to the pics put and I ain't forcing anyone to buy it! if it don't sell it don't matter I'm not bovard let me make that clear so stop slaging me and my items off!

Look I was happy just selling my item on eBay I didn't put it on here for sale and other members have taken it apon them selfs to slag my item off which is unfair so what if I put a £205 on it buy now the last gear knob sold for this no harm in trying but as for the slaging off saying it's used and chunks fulling off is unfair it is what it is a new genuine Renault gear knob! Brake servo I wasn't sold Cheap we both helped each other out as I had a part he needed and the rest was money I paid him what he was asking as for the 8 inner valve springs I paid the going rate for them which was £45/£50 so no can see wear you're going with this

I had spent that but now my cus has the parts and putting it back to oe spec so them parts he now has as he might get other Gt turbo to put them all on but that money was everything Inc the repaint from bush to bolt job wouldn't be that much now as somethings are cheaper now but I did start modding it a few years ago!

:confused:I can't really see much diferance between selling a gear knob(which is a hard to find part) for top money or a secound hand grill for £150 both of which are ebay items so you only need to bid if you want them and have the money.It would seem the only differace is the person/members selling said items.
In my mind both items are over priced.Saying that both new and good used parts are getting hard to find.

on the subject of the raised lettering i have had raised lettering on a phase 1.5 E plate car i owned back in the mid 90's which i believed to have had the original gear knob on as i changed it for an alloy one and it was an absolute ar5e to get off, but later regretted it as the alloy one never fitted right so bought a replacement from renault but that didnt have raised lettering, never got round to fitting it before selling the car so still have it.

Yes there were two different kinds, the way to tell is turn it over one had an larger hole with an insert with a x at the base and the other later ones had a much smaller hole that mount straight onto the gear stick.
