Motor bike test

I'm thinking of getting a motorbike and was wondering what sort of price i should be paying for training and tests.im not looking to do my direct acess.Will i need to do a writen as well.:)

writen test will be needed

if your old enough go direct access as its the same test youll sit anyway
no idea on price been 11 years since mine but at a guess id say £500 ish

I think I paid around 800 at the start of the year but that was for the theory, cbt and both practical tests. If you fail obviously there are resits etc and it can get bumped up.

I was lucky and passed everything 1st time and I have next to no on road motorbike experience just mainly off road but its a piece of piss.

Theory test is about £35 (£50 if you select the pass protect option which gives you 3 free re-takes)

Direct access set me back £700 for 5 day course (price included cbt)

Start it Monday, fingers crossed it goes ok as I have already bought a bike!
