Iv been looking in to wrapping my manifold but there's alot of conflicting info out there on the matter
Just wondering what ye think... is it worth while or will it cause problems down the line

ive done some of my manifold with 1"x20ft and my downpipe with 2"x15ft not looking for performance just want to stop things melting around it i say do it

Hi I've wrapped my manifold and down pipe help keep the heat down and not had any problems with it

Wrap works well.. but if you have a stainless manifold don't wrap it but get it ceramic coated its pricey but does a much better job than wrap.

Wrapped a stainless exhaust before and it rotted away as the wrap holds the water inside it and eats away at the pipe eventaully

Cheers lads...i have a stainless manifold so i think ill leave it...might just rap the elbow and downpipe even thought downpipe is stainless as well id say, but looks to be better quality

i have done the same i have rap only the elbow and the dp to keep some of the the temp on my staretr
