Im off to york this sunday, just wondering if anyone has some good tips, like suspension set up, tyre pressures and best way to get the power down.

The car im guessing is about 170-180hp now its all run in and my boost is up :) The car will try to loose traction a little when i nail it 1st 2nd and 3rd but not enough to worry me that im loosing precious time.

Like i said never done it before :ashamed:

Im hoping to get into the 14s, would love to get in the 13s but i will have to wait and see :scared:

Keep tyre pressures as usual on road tyres, nice burnout to clean off and try and ease the power in first as the grip on road tyres is poor at york.

If you didn't have big gay brakes id borrow you my old mickey thompson drag radials :cooter:

I have my 15" team dynamics im going to put on the front, but tyres are crap.

I will give it a go and see how she go's.

What time should i be looking at briggs?

i'm thinking high 14s:)

Bugger off, I got into the high 13's with that kinda power, true it was at pod but is uphill compared to York.

A sensible burnout and rev out to 6000rpm, don't short shift like a nancy, you should cross the line topping out 4th and don't let off as soon as you past the line, keep ya foot down for abit after the line as the timing becons are normal set after and line;)

At york i predict a low 15/high 14 on road tyres, best i have done on treads at york is 14.2 @ 105 in the van

I'm getting my 5 running with a f7r turbo, u really think ive got any money to bet lol

Seriously though I would think high 13's are possible With 180bhp, just a case of getting a good launch and not fluffing a gear change

I'd go mid-high 14's if it's slippy like people say, more like a 15 though I expect.
