Hi All,

Got a query about a couple of wires in the engine bay. I think they're for the anti-percolation fan but I'm not sure.

We have a new wiring loom.

They are both purple and as supplied are bridged with a small link. They come out near the carb/turbo. Should they be connected to the sensor at the bottom of the carburettor? What is this sensor for? Is it for the anti-percolation fan, as well as the one on the turbo heatshield? It looks like both sensors need to be "on" for the fan to kick in...

Secondly, should we be safe with the fan? Not going to seize and set the car on fire?

We are missing the sensor for the heatshield, so no fan at the moment. Hot starts are a pain.

Thanks,

Andrew
