recently got the car finished to get back on the road and had a problem with rough idle and lack of power & kangrooing / juddering while driving and a black soot from the exshuast. I know the shims on the inlet are out and have new on the way, also put the nock senor that was left unpluged back on and fitted a uprated fuel pump and put a bit of gasket seal on the maniflod which has now helped the idle but still have the same prob with driving and also the plugs have a dry soot on them......
any help would be really helpfull
