Renault 5 GT Turbo

Anybody used to know this place?

My first Renault 5 GT Turbo, a rare J plate tungsten grey was serviced there from new. When I aquired it in 2003, the car had been sat in a garage for a few years as the one lady owner had died of polio and her husband decided to sell it. I called the number for Radborne Racing and a chap answered the phone telling me it had long gone and I was now speaking to the owner of an Italian restaurant.

Just curious as I cannot find much info on the place other then the fact they used to tune Fiats up until the early '80s.

Yep, and they want nothing to do with gt turbo's/their history. A few people I know have been down there to get info out of them for various things, and they've been given the cold shoulder :(

Correct!:agree: Radborne Racing went along time ago but did have some interesting cars in there over the years, they had a few EBS convertibles a R5 GT Turbo sport one of five which was double skinned owned by a signer, maybe wrong was a long time ago but they were my local dealer.
