any helf on why the afr has suddenly gone to 18 + on idle, checked all hoses on carb base for leaks and have none. it got set up last week bang on 12 then changed today in the space of a few miles of driving

U must have a leek somewhere! it would'nt idle at 18 afr!

also 12's is far too rich for idle!,mines happiest around 14.

its was fine tho and just suddenly changed. checked all hoses and pinched the off to check for leaks. could the sensor it the exhaust be dirty. when its driving it bounces round from 10 to 18 on boost it hits low 11 to low 13 though the revs

have you cleaned out the idle jet?

when it's running does it idle smoothly?

its a grp a carb had both jets changed got a massive main jet and had the secondary jet changed for a bigger 1. all air correctors changed and a carb rebuild less than 100 miles ago. i turned the idle mixture scrw nearly all the way out and it runs ruff now. this is why im confused to y its saying its lean. gunna turn the screw back a bit 2 morro b4 the dyno day.

take the idle jet out (up and left of the mixture screw)and clean that and also blow in to where you unscrewed it with an air line if possible, then fire the car up,get it up to temp and adjust the mixture screw to around 14 afr
