Bit of an odd one for the boards but someone may have some idea.
Basically I'm thinking of selling my tunes from when I used to DJ.
Now they are mostly dance, trance, house, garage, 2 step etc with a fair few white labels & a handful of old stuff from the late 80's.
Most of the stuff is mid 90's to early 2000 but have up to mid 2000 as well IIRC.
Looked on H2F records & from memory from my trance collection I have at least 9 in their wanted list ranging from £2-£3. Then I got bored of trolling through & trying to find them in my collection, I have approx 400 in total I think :cooter:.

Any ideas on how to price them & sell them anyone :crap:

to put it in the nicest way steve the old skool records have died majorly. Its all about cdj's now and you will have to do a full list of the records and have to find the right person to buy them.

I still have my technic 1210 mk2s and will not sell them for nothing, I love the old skool and will stick by it. Always helps calm me down after a **** day at work

Yeah I know Rich but there must be some pretty rare ones in there somewhere, at one point I was in record shops every other day buying new releases. I have loads of white labels as well as a fair few promo's & like I say some older stuff from the late 80's...
Suppose I'll have to go through them if I do sell them :crap:

Job lot them on ebay, you get feck all, if you are looking to get the most for them stick them on ebay or discogs like i use, no listing fees, you only pay a fee when an item sells.

List the trance i might have a few of you :)

I have never used cds, so tempted though, im just a 12" freek.

Can you get away with not selling them, and just store them somewhere, i recon in 10 yrs time you would regret getting rid, i have about 5 boxes full and ive put them away, years ago i had loads of tapes and threw them away because i was bored of them. but id love them back now, they had some proper tunage on them

What he said. Sell them now and possibly regret it later.

I had a thumb through last night & it got me wishing I had something to play them on :D
But I'm 36 now, 3 kids, flat out with work, cars & other things, I just can't see me ever having time to use them again TBH.

I have converted all my oldskool rave to mp3, i know one day they will go so better to keep the memories anyway you can.

I took me about 3 days to do it, but well worth it :)

I just did mine though my 1200s with a program running on the pc to save.

Do the converter deck have a pitch on them?

I really fancy a go on some cdj's with my oldskool mp3s just to see if they are what they are cracked up to be.
