Does anyone have a rough ideaof the weight of a wheel and tyre? (turbine and toyo) I need to get some wheels courriered and am not at home...

around 15kg (wheel + tyre ) ,this is pretty accurate btw .

from memory i think its 12Kg did weigh one once, and it was lots less than a 15" wheel

The cheapest delivery quote i can find is £75 !!! A friend said he had posted wheels for £30 - £35 !!!

Anyone got any ideas?

I have found a cheaper place and it saves loads if you do the wheels as 1 parcel...

I used parcel2go http://www.parcel2go.com a couple of months ago to send 4x15" wheels and tyres to some bloke after I'd put them on ebay. cost me around £40

that was my bathroom scales mate
turbines are not the lightest wheels around .
the other thing that may surprise you is , that the tyre
usually weighs more than the wheel :crap: :eek:
