Suspension advice

Help required here guys

Basically my r5 has standard shocks with -50mm apex springs and the rear torsion bar adjusted to around the same height.

Problem is that on country road and most of Sheffield's pot holed roads the ride is rather harsh.

Could anyone suggest a fast road application, perhaps with just a -30mm drop where the ride will be firm yet not too harsh?

Have heard about gaz coilovers etc - but heard these again would be harsh and are more suited to a track application

i think a good all round combo is the koni yellow shocks and the -30mm springs.
