New poster! (less than 10 posts)

just fitted a double capacity intercooler but the standard oil cooler pipes are very close to it anyone found a way around this? also when fitting i noticed the pipes swivel on the cooler is this normal?

spoke to k-tec today to order viper indiction kit but was told they are restrictive and would be better off getting an open filter with a cold air feed to it. he said the temperature coming out of the turbo will be about 120 degrees so being heat from the turbo under the engine bay wont make much difference. is this a load of rubbish? anyone got a viper or bmc?

I have one of the old GT Tuning oil pipe extenders that they sold with their double cap coolers back in the day.

Ive got a viper kit on can't really say it's restrictive not had any other kit on to judge against u just don't get an induction noise with it being closed also the kit has a cold air feed it's all sealed so it has a good feed of cold air

i have a viper on mine but i couldnt give an honest evaluation of the 2 as before i had a gt tuning ram raid induction kit and that was located right next to the turbo. but since i changed to fmic set up i got the viper and mounted it right behind the front grille does seem better there but id imagine any kit will be better away from a piping hot turbo
