View Full Version : is 16 afr reading ok for motorway driven

Hello ive increased my 2nd stage to 1.2 and decreased my a/c to 1.0mm, i have now got good wot readings apart from an occasional sputtering but im hoping this is swarth and will just need a good clean out but my query is on a steady drive 3000rpm 5th gear motorway driven the afr is glued to the higher end of gauge around 16+ is this ok, because im planning on driven up to pod like this which will be 250 ish miles all round, anyone got any quick answers for this :wasntme: me dont want to be recovered if i can help it:laugh:

Ideally you want it around the 14.5 mark mate, what are the size of your other jets?

All the jets are standard size apart from the 2nd stage and a/c, from what im trying to teach myself from you guys its best to keep the rest this way? what would i need to do to make this come down, cheers neil

Mine also reads 15-16 when in 5th gear at low rpm,im leaving it be :)
