the middle fuel pipe on the fuel tank sender is the flow pipe insn't it?

just noticed when i took my old fuel pump off it went:-

from tank (middle pipe) ,to pump,to fuel filter, with the arrow on fuel filter pointing back to tank, as if its the return pipe:scratch:

if it is the flow it should nor be tank, to filter, to pump?

theres no direction arrow on pump, but it must have been pumping right way cos car was working!

On mine it's piped from the tank, pump, filter to carb and the arrow is pointing in the direction of flow and with the pump it will only pump one way

Middle is defiantly the flow and the easiest way to check your return how I found out by making the mistake is look at the ports on the sender the breather port is very narrow inside with a pin hole through it,if you put the return on it your soon know as your have over 12 psi of presure and the car will flood and lock up instantly the return port has a much larger internal diameter hole than the vent hope this helps :)
