Was a great day and my first RTOC meet. Thanks to everyone for making us feel welcome, and for the useful advice - was good to put names to faces. Really pleased with my rr result. Will upload my pics and vids shortly.
Massive thanks to Andy for putting in all the hard work organising it. Will look forward to the next one. :agree:

no worries pal and that was on a damaged turbo would only make 2.1bar of boost and normaly i run 2.4bar of boost but not to complain the first nos run and fire it made 487.5 lbft torque thats insane there,s all ways next time :)

Glenn's firey engine bay is the star atraction next weekend dave :D
The plastic breather elbow that pushes on to the rocker cover had split and the vapour was igniting on the manifold.

im over the moon with my result of 230bhp@ 24psi and that was with it running mega rich i think a few more ponies can be had by leaning it off
whats robbie running in his 5? c1j? gutted i could'nt get to it, started it for the first time in ages and it was a little rough but all sorted now.

so pissed off i didnt make it but had a sump, mains and big ends off which was a waste of time but its as she said to me why risk it theres alwas next year so off came the sump.............all is fine though not a mark on my bearings just cant believe my oil filter sandwich plate bolt broke from doing my oil filter then ran it and wondered why i had oil flowing out my radiator lmao
i well missed out :cry:
yes ill also say it was real good to see mike there, its nice to see effort made to get to these events, the more the merrier as they say.

was a real shame you couldnt make it mate, seems like you had a real pig of a time with the car it threw the customary r5gtt wobbler just like steves did

Im Pissed off i missed this event, got the 5 through the mot after 7 years sorn that month but the RR day was on my 1st wedding anniversary so couldnt miss spending the day with the wife :) is there another RR day planned for the start of next year or is the next 1 at scoffs work place? last RTOC RR Day I went to was in shirley solihull (Birmingham), drove down there sat nite to see if it was still going but looks like its closed down :(

Yes m8 i was in my white 5, hows thing with you? I sold the white 5, now got andy spillane old 5 now without the 17" chrome wheels and carisma kit if you ever met him. What psi you running the K-tec 350 RB turbo at?
