Indicator problem..

My left indicators started clicking quickly today, i thought it was a dead bulb so went to investigate. i swapped out the front nearside indicator bulb (the one that is not lighting) and it still did not work.

i have tried swapping the bulb housings over for the front and it still does not work? i am thinking wiring problem. everything seems okay with no obvious signs.

any ideas where to look?
