:D Anyone know a a good place to get a decent helmet cheap? Not looking for anything flashy just something for the odd trackday. Or if anyone has a new one that they dont want in size small let me know.

I may be being stupid here but is there a difference between motorbike and car helmets (not motox)? Also is there any sort of safety rating/standard that i should be looking for?

get one of the open faced helmets, better visibility and feels less claustrophobic than a motorbike one.
think my one was about £40 new from one of the online motorsport shops.

Gary mate I have 2 brand new helmets at my dads I will need one for myself but I have one spare if you wanna by it brand new in White with a carry case I paid 150 each for them you can have one for 75 if that's any good to you I'm sure one or both are small let me know or give me a bell mate 07814 518 971

Any helmet for sale will have been through the right tests etc for safety. I have a fully enclosed helmet in case i ever go out on friends bikes etc, but the advise above is worth noting. A track day helmet would be much better open faced, wish mine was.
