Wont start..

Just gone to start the 5 and it fired like normal. When i pressed the accelerator pedal it just died. now i cant get it started at all. Battery is okay and not had any previous trouble starting.
any ideas?

Sounds daft but have you got fuel in it, or more specifically is it getting to the carb.

yes loads of fuel in tank. could it be the fuel pump?

Mine had this problem the other day, get someone underneath whilst you turn it over to see if the fuel pump is alive. Other than that check for fuel at the carb.

just had a search...there was no fuel getting to the carb.
i have swapped over the fuel pump relay and all seems well.

i am going to change the fuel pump as well as it looks a bit crappy.
