Hi everyone rtoc meet or French car show

Hi everyone I am new to the site I live in the midlands and I am looking for a 5 turbo i just wondered which would be the best show to go to,to maybe find one for sale the rtoc meet or the French car show.

Definitely the RTOC show, you'll be more likely to find a chav-box at FCS (apart from the ones on our stand) :agree:

A lot of members are doing the RTOC National Day on the Saturday and then all driving to FCS together on the Sunday, you could do that :)

hi and welcome to the fold.. as above definatly seek an r5 from the owners club rather than a car show. Also make sure you get advise from members on here on what to look out for.. 80% of 5s out there seem to be crappers with issues of one sort or another. Personally i find that most mechanical issues are easy to fix however rust issues can be a crusher when it comes to repair costs.

Thanks everyone I will go on sat I currently have a vauxhall powered mini never actually been in a 5 which may sound stupid but I have always wanted one if anyone lives local and wants to pop to see me I would love to meet a few people who have a 5 I live in Stourbridge thanks again

If you've never been in a 5 then I'm sure if you grab yourself a passenger wristband for the grand sum of £2 on the day, then someone will take you out in theirs :)

Joining the local convoy in the morning is a great way to meet everyone (grab a couple of peoples mopbile numbers before you go) and make sure you camp over - always the best part of the day :agree:

Yeah you sure can, you can just pay on the gate. If you'd like a passenger wristband just pop into the club shop (by the tarck) at any point throughout the day to pick one up :)
