hi all
after my garage fitted a new 480 turbo clutch and a new r5gt flywheel my clutch slips really bad any ideas. Cluch was an LUK make

I think you should be asking the garage that fitted it, if THEY had any ideas.:confused:

more info needed. when is clutch sliping on boost.how much boost are you running.i have found only the valeo clutch will handle more than standard power.i uesd to run a sachs clutch at 18psi and that started to slip after 1000miles:cry:

just put new internals in engine so only running 10 psi is it possible to put the plate in the wrong way.:scratch:
did they adjust the clutch pedal? maybe the cable is too tight making it slip :confused:

yep check the clutch cable isnt too tight see if you can pull it out by hand from the clutch fork. they could have contaminated the plate grease oil ect... rip the sh1t out of it then take it back and complain:D
you can put the plate in the wrong way round.... as you lift your foot off the clutch pedal, there will be tinkling sound from the box area as the plate springs rub on the flywheel to crank bolts!
