****ATTENTION ALL OF YOU BARGAIN HUNTERS!!!****
In a direct response to some of the feedback that is coming from the survey that the club is running at the moment, we are looking to try something out at this years National Day for those of you who are looking to sell some of the parts you have that are cluttering up your garage/shed/cupboards....
A good old fashioned Autojumble!!
If you have something to sell we are going to set aside a section in/near the club shop where you will be able to bring the parts you wish to sell and leave it there with a note attached stating:
Your name
How much you want for it
Mobile phone number
This will then give any potential buyers the option to either pay the asking price or phone you during the show to haggle a better price?
Everything that is left at the shop will be entered into a ledger and the price paid for the item will be noted so that the committee can hand over the proceeds to the seller at the end of the day.
The cost for this service will be a small charge of £1 that will ONLY BE LEVIED IF YOUR ITEM SELLS so if you try to sell something & it doesn't get sold, you've not lost anything?! :D
For those of you who are thinking "I'm not going to pay £1 to sell something for £5?" I say Charge £6 for it!! ;):D
