as long as ya won thats the main thing:laugh:
what boost ya running etc... did the piston just let go or is there some other cause to this? just trying to gauge how much the standard internals can safely take.
I thought you done the clutch!?!?!
erm tbh i think its a mix of things
7 k limit, posible faulty map sensor,
it basicly chucked alot of oil out the dip stik after a hard bash in 1st 2nd 3rd
after a clean i took it for another ragging an it started to det, mayb cos of the busted ass piston, but i carried on driving through it, it was broke so thought fuk it lol
im only at 17psi the bores and bearings are mint.
just a bit of **** luck i guess
new forgeed engine is gona get built up this week now :)
It was just posed to be the clutch. But as it was out I pulled head off to inspect, followed by pistons. Glad I did now tho Altho no 1 likes finding that sort of damage
Same as what happen to my old pistons they only lasted 850 miles. Get the forged lump built up mate :)
Nice...;)...:goodJob::goodJob:
Time for some Propper forged pistons...an then praps a re-match? :agree:
Nice dave, becomin a regular thing lol. Forged engine will still melt if the map or sensors aren't rite. Std internal will take 25psi, although some engines started to det at 21psi presumeably due to comp ratio, timing can be adjusted to compensate but not on Std ecu
Mr haz u are right something isn't rite at all.
Need a standard lump Bak in then Bak on Tje rollers I do believe.
2 ltr throttle body next with an external wast gate, open up the head and inlets a bit an try AGEN
:(
