the one i fitted is away having a V-band fitted then it should be fine.
How much is that costing? and what will that do just change the angle of the downpipe?

cost im not sure about as its not my stuff, but it will allow the angle of the downpipe to swing either towards the engine or bulkhead in order to miss the driveshaft.
Can you just buy the v-bands then or does it need to be done by a fabricator or exhaust place?

you can buy the vbands but then need welding in place. you may not even need to do it as i doubt all the manifolds and downpipes will be the same so you may get lucky.
cheers for the info mate :agree: any chance of some pics when that one gets done of will it be on the car?

i will ask matt to take some when he gets it back. its a pretty straight forward modification and hopefully no one else will need to do it, but these parts are hand made so some will have slight human error involved and could end up in the situation we are.
