Hello everyone north west way. Would it be a good idea to list whos going and maybe organise a few meeting points??
I think the usual meeting place is Lymm services?

im thinking stopping over the saturday night then fcs sunday then doing one after the group b cars at 1.35 :agree:
I'm going on Sat morning.. cba camping this year. Is Saturday the day most people have in mind? If so, will meet you guys at Lymm as usual and convoy down.
We're heading down early on the Friday, camping over/beer/BBQ etc, doing the track day on Saturday then going home! :burnrubber:

Maybe make a list for peoples ideas unconfirmed then a confirmed list and well try make the best for everyone?

If im not busy at work im down saturday morning, getting pissed and i aint going home till am sober... thats me for the weekend.. :) (if im honest not to fussed about FCS)

Its 2 hrs from mine! so not that bad...add an hr for the RAC and then being tow'd there i should make it in around 4/5 hrs! :laugh:
I'm travelling down sat morning, setting off at 8 so should be there around 10 if anyone wants to join me??

I could do mate, GTT'S should should travel in pairs and ghave tow bars as standard.......so when one breaks down the other can tow it the show :laugh:
As said the gates open at 5ish, so I suggest the people heading down on Friday maybe meet at either Keele or Lymm services at 2pm. How's that sound? :)

If we all leave at about 2pm we *should* be o.k. traffic wise as we'll be there before the rush hour starts :agree: That said we always end up getting lost on RTOC convoys! :laugh:
I think Keale services might be the best option for the NW meet, looking at the route it's a more direct meeting place. :)

looks like i can now make nd this year. bric found a way last year that used the a5 knocked abot 50 miles off the m6 m69 route mostley duel carrageway with some great country roads. just got to find a reason to get out of work to meet at the services. :)

If you plan on going on track then yes. A few of us aren't going on track but instead just buying entry and camping...

Im up for that, cant finish untill 2pm, so i can be ready to go for 3. By the time weve dropped the dog off etc, later the better reallly, but mega traffic down the m6, if its just us wirral lot, then i suggest going the stoke road (a41/a51:confused:???)

i wont be meeting up sorry guys, not sure on what time were heading up there now
ill be out of work for 3 pm so can travel a bit further to meet people if the m6 is beng avoided. The route we took last year that cut down the traving was turning of the M6 at J12 onto the A5 heading to fenny drayton left onto the A444 then right onto fenn lane stright onto wharf lane throught sutton cheneyonto stapleton lane trn right onto the A447 the left onto bosworth road that then take you into kirkby mallory :) (thanks to bric) we can also pick the a5 up further down if using the a51

Right, so it looks like we'll be meeting up a little later on now. Can anyone suggest a meet up area which avoids us getting stuck on the M6 at rush hour? :scared: I've not got a sat nav or even a decent road map otherwise I'd check myself! :laugh:
I suggest maybe meeting at little chef, then go down the a51 then the a49 then eventually we come out at junction 16 (Stoke) missing out the majority of the m6. Then through Stoke to the campsite

Nice one lads, I just need to get the time in getting the car ready for racing really. I've let it slide a bit with work over the last few months and I need to pick up the slack over the next couple of weeks, so I can get a lot more done over the weekend if I knock ND on the head. Car's fine enough, it would do for the trip but it would mean me spending Friday night rushing to swap a clutch master cylinder and I'd already agreed to do some car related work that night so it's a no go. See you all at the pod day though :agree:
