not like that you mucky lot..
Club members... Anyway, I see that members are still re-registering in dribs and drabs, anyone got any idea how many still have to find their way back? By that I mean current members who still need to re-register.
At present 443 members have registered on the site. There was normally around the 800 mark who were regulary visitors of the last site per month, im guessing a couple of hundred register for discounts or dont have internet connection.
there are 443 members, quite a lot more have registered, around 720. the old site had perhaps double the members. we lost a lot, but, new registrations are happening all the time, I guess atleast aswell as the old site. old members are dribbling back, a few a week.
At the bottom of the boards page it says: Members: 796, Active Members: 796
I see on the members page it's now 444. I estimate about 60 new members have joined since early September and about 30 paid renewals.
So that means we've only manually entered about 410 to full membership.
Sure seems like a lot more than that.
So, there's 352 registered non members that are counted by the system as members on the bottom of the boards page but not on the membership list.
At the bottom of the boards page it says: Members: 796, Active Members: 796
that includes the awaiting registration group, those that havn't yet discovered, or clicked on their registration email.
unfortunately there does not seem to be a way to alter the member count at the foot of the boards pages, it always wants to show total. The best I could do without a hack was to set the membership list to show only paid, committee, admin, press, honorary, moderator, etc, groups. The total on the members page is what counts.
Ian, you or I can check the transaction log to count up new members and/or renewals.

OK, so only a little over half of the membership have clocked back in. Maybe that's just normal, I suppose a lot of folks join for a few months then slip back into the ether. It certainly seems that all the active members have found their way back.
