yeah i thort it might be too big , do you think coming in at 5k is right i just didnt know if it might be anything else ?
if so is there anything we could do to get it to come in earlyer ? or do you think it might be best to get rid and get somthing smaller ?
thanks

We need to know the engine spec first, specifically what cam it's running?

For good response but, still a boost capability upgrade you need to look at a T25/T2 hybrid (T2 turbine housing) and for even more boost but still reasonably responsive you should have a look at a full T25 with a 0.49 turbine housing.

The T25/T2 will work ok with the STD cam but you will need to change the cam to get the most out of the full T25.

the car has got a bbt 270 cam on it and thats about it apart from a intercooler and a k&n airfilter

5000rpm is about right for an 0.64ar turbine. If he swaps that for an 0.49ar from a Rover tomcat, etc then it will be more like 4000rpm.
