Could not beleive my eye when I saw this. This was my brother in laws old R5.
See the pic of when he first got it. He did all the body work etc, was his preference back then.
Thought i'd share my excitement/shock/disapointment with you HEHE

think its not to bad apart from the worlds worst back numper lol,
strange how old flip paint looks now, remember when it first came out and was the dogs bollox, as said by how damn dear it was lol

trev mate i got about an hour away from going to get that deal was arranged the lot, then had second thoughts and ended up buying another ****ter lol.

I remember putting the SFS hoses on there and generally doing the work on it.
When he first bought it, it was mint other at than a few body bits. I think it had about 40k miles and the interior was MINT. full service history etc.
I always hate it when people shove bucket seats etc in them. Mind you thats my opinion as i like the retro standard look.
I told him its on ebay now and he didnt even want to look :cry:. lol

Flip paint has never been the dogs bollox :sad2:
agreed trev it got stuck on to many chavvy cars and ruined the efect i have seen some different tones that look good i had a blue mr2 that was nice but this purple one NOPE!

I think its a matter of matching the colour to the shape of the car.

Even if its did have repairs thats a bit steep isnt it :).
