Just spoke to a guy at cr turbos about getting a new turbo as i found my rear housing was cracked the other day!!

He said he recomended a .47 rear and a rover tomcat front and said it was a t2/25. I thought that a t2 only had a 38 rear though??? or are there various sizes? any one with a bit more knowledge shed some light?

As you say there are variation in sizes and that spec turbo spools and pulls very well on a 5, .47 is a T2 housing:agree:

Got my turbo back yesterday after having a bigger rear t2 end put on it and a t25 front end. I was having a look at it and i noticed that there is play in the shaft left to right not in and out. On a new turbo should there be any play at all??
