uprating brakes ??

hya all

i am doin a conversion on me renault 5 gt turbo and i am just wondering what front brake calipers and disks should i get ??

i have found these ones on ebay wich i have got me eye on but i dont no if they are any good :crap:

What conversion are you doing ? TBH the standard brakes / calipers are pretty good when replaced / refreshed with some good pads such as DS2500`s

Or you could get some Renault 21 TXI front disks (285mm IIRC) with caliper extenders and again decent pads. Would be ALOT cheaper than what your looking at. Afew members have done this with good success :):agree:

yeh would save alot doing it that way :) and i am thinking of f7p turbo engine so didnt no weather 2 upgrade or just get decent disks and pads ?

i have replaced all my braking parts only leaving the servo and rear bias.. the rest is new, cost well under £500 and im sure will perform what ever power im running.. oe is always cheaper to replace after wear or warping discs etc..:cool:

Has anyone replaced the front and rear calipers with better ones? I'm looking into doing it on a budget so possibly off another common car

yeh defo would look mint but got no engine and got williams wheels :cool:

will upgrade in time 2 cum ;)
