Rear dampers

Going to highlight my ignorance here but whilst fiddling around yesterday noticed that the rear units are De Carbon. Were these standard fit? Are they still available? Probably not. And if I wanted to replace them with what and how do they differ?

I think they were std on the cup cars and possible on std cars too?

De Carbon rear shocks are standard fit on the gtt, same on the original front struts. No idea if still available??

If you were going aftermarket then i would say either the Gaz blue/gold adjustables or Koni yellows :)

As far as I can work out the only non standard bits on the car are the spark leads and CD so really want to continue that though I suppose at some point I will have to start to compromise.
