Now then chaps... Anyone got there Garrett technical data book handy?

I've bought a turbo off e-bay, took a bit ofa chance but looks like I might of been lucky :)

Heres the link to the advert HERE. (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250795384384&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT)

Now I bought it because it looked like a Rover Tomcat Turbo which we know comes with a 0.49 rear end and is well suited to a the 5's engine.

So it was delivered today and as I thought its never been used, theres some surface rust on the back end where its been sitting somewhere damp.

There are some metal ID tags on the turbo core

The first is:
GARRETT
S/A UA0043A
P/N 465199 2
C/N PMF10005

The second is.
Made in France
TPL2532
C110391
UA0289 DEV

The back end is a 0.49 so thats a good start and its clearly a T25... Just wondered what the spec is.

Cheers Chaps.

Hi Ash, I'll ask Adam to look at this tonight when he arrives here. Do you have any photos? (I know he'll ask)

It looks like a Rover turbo with that compressor housing and wheels. Google also mentioned Rover...
