new turbo but what is it

ok got another turbo to try on my 5, has turned up and is on loan if its good its staying if not it goes back nice fella to let me do that, but its turned up and putting it next to my t2 and t25 the inlet, where the fins are is much much bigger, how do i tell what it is?

says bc2 m27 a/r 48 on the front

on the rear housing

any ideas?

standard exhaust housing, what you're reading tells you nothing. Measure the wheels.

you mean the front wheel that i can see? its a lot bigger than the t2 i sat next to it nearly twice the size, i'll have a measure tommorrow

It can't be that much bigger, those a/r's are T2

totally forgot to measrure it today, but sitting the 2 next to each other the t2 and the supposed t25 i have this thing is a good size biggewr than then in the size 9of the propeller etc, its supposed to be a hybrid 200 but never heard of a turbo called that.

good news its on and working perfectly so happy with that.

If it's a hybrid, it's possible the front casing is T25 then. The rear housing is, without question, T2.

well i thought on my last t2/25 it was a samll front with a bigger back, this is a bigger front with a smaller back?

might not have this right as not sure onturbo's etc

A large back end and small front end wouldn't be a very smart idea. Lag with minimul air flow.
