Can you guys tell me how easy or hard this is to get done, i have a gt rad with my b18 conversion and at the moment im using a flexi pipe that does a loop the loop from the rad to the water pump.

Could the exit on the rad be cut off like a plate welded over and a new exit welded on else where.

I could then just run a 90* straight off it.

thanks phil

i have managed to use 2 90 silicone bends from the water pump to the rad, not sure if they are water tight yet as i am still not up and running

I have been looking into 2 180 as i can not get in with the 90*, i would have to move my rad along thus catching on the long arm on my clutch pedal

Have you used a gt rad?

phill im doing the same as you with the stupid flexy pipe makes oil filter changes a right pain:mad: all the 180degree bends i have seen arnt sharp enough and would fowl on everything. I have no idea about alloy welding but im sure it can easily be done by a good company just depends on how much you want to spend.

I have found some tight 180s on ebay in blue, 2 off them might get it, getting the oil filter of is just plain stupid at the moment

I think 2 135* might get it if cut right.

Alpha welding on bensham lane could be worth a shout, they do ally so fairly sure they could sort a rad. They are tucked away behind the bath store.

Shouldnt cost too much to get somebody to chop & tig it in a different place mate, any half decent engineers should be able to do it. Flavells in thornaby are really good but miles away from you.

Lada Samara one is 480mm (not including end caps as dont have that measurement) x 340mm pipes are both on the LHS

Not sure what a super diesel is though as I just got measurements of the normal diesel and that is 605mm wide and thinking thats too big.

Was thinking more of he cant move over the rad he has got due to the clutch arm as he has got the long arm conversion on there.

That is big, i have a grill mount intercooler in there to where the pipes run in where the standard gtt intercooler sits, clutch arm would catch to i think.

Look like a nice bit kit easy pipe runs to :)
