Calibra rough

Hello, ive got a calibra thats been sat on my drive for 2 years, i last started about 7 months ago and i ran ok but went to start it a few days ago and it runs like a bag of spanners. The plugs are black and wet with fuel, when the car kinda runs it stinks of petrol, theres a goods spark from all the plugs. I put new fuel in last week. where should i be looking next?

maybe the lambda/oxygen sensor is playing up?....
check the fault codes....

What engine is it?

i'd say the throttle body will need a basic calibration reset done on it. then take it for a good drive so it relearns the basics.
