im not sure of the weight, but i have managed to chance a clutch by myself, must admit was bit awkward but can be done
The box is light enough to lift on your own. Personally i would lift the engine out leaving the box in the car for a clutch swap.

It's not a deal breaker. I dead lifted the engine out ( craned it back in ). Box is much lighter.

I'd say just short of a sack of spuds which are 25kg
As brigsy said it's a one man job, when I've helped mark we have it out in no time, but box stays in situ, a year ago I put my rebuilt lump in with a light hand from a friend and a jack
I am also upgrading my clutch soon , i was gonna take the whole lot out to change the clutch .... is it easier to do leaving the gearbox in then ???
Yep leave the box in, no messing about taking driveshafts out & refilling the gearbox oil:)
ok mate , will do that ... will make it quicker hopefully putting it all back in :) , i wasnt sure if there would be enough room and how hard it will be aligining the gearbox to the clutch.

It mates up fine. If you have any stick put a 21mm socket on the end of the bottom pully and twist gently. Should go together well
< cheers Briggsy for the sms advice :) )
