been trying to claim my money back through paypal but apparently he has no money in his account.

I was over at his bit a couple of weeks ago, and he's been having a bit of a time of it lately, a family member had died and he wasnt at his best. What details do you have? When some dip **** tried to rip me off last year on the GTiR forum (before I realised he apparently made a career of it on the forums) I waited 3 months for a MAF. Luckily I had bank account details, texts, phone number, home address, emails.... And so on (I usually get everything I can, details wise, when buying something). I gave him 24 hours to refund my money or I was going to the police... At 10am the next day I got a grovelling phone call and a direct payment into my account of the full amount.

If he's taking the piss, go to the old bill, don't take **** excuses or wonder why you've got no reply to any messages/calls sent.

Right i bought a rear bumper and bonnet off him a few months ago, still not recieved either.........

Went to claim the money back via paypal, but went over the 45 day dispute periode so could not claim through paypal, meaning i dont really have a leg to stand on. After looking back i kinda have got the impression that he new this and kept fobbing me off with excuss after excuss untill the 45 days were up and then havnt heard from him since.

If this is incorrect mike then you are welcome to get intouch and let me know when my items are likely to arrive. Lets just say im not holding out much hope......

I got a bumper from him ages ago and it took him months to send it. 2-3 months if i remember and i was hassling him weekly. When it came it was filthy, Im talking so dirty it took me hours to clean. When i got it clean it had more marks and scratches than described. Also bought a grill around the same time which just wasn't in the condition described (it even had a dead fly in the mesh)

concerning the parts people have not recieved i sent a few things out and the addresses got mixed up to members in the rtoc when asked to send them back they just said you take long enough to send your parts you'll just wait.

then when mike put a post on the rtoc then everyone just started by saying that look at the time it takes you to send out part its your problem not ours.

so thats whats going on with mike is is in the paint shop and just getting over the cold for the past 2 weeks.

what you all got to remember is that mikes selling parts that are on cars that he owns BUT he does sometimes have days that he just cannot take all the parts off that have been ordered as he WORKS BY HIMSELF no other goons just him trusty self so everyone thats waiting for parts from mike should have picked up the telephone or txt him to find out whats going on if you all were that bothered about your parts then i would have gone to the yard and ask mike face to face whats going on , then you would have reailsed how busy mike is and has been for the past 6 months now with him taking new premises for painting.

so everyone please remember he's been doing this job for years and have also help out a lot of people when they have been stuck and no other garage will do the work that they want at the sort of price that mike can do it for.

If you arrage a date for a courier to pick it up (i will see if he can get them out, he works monday - friday though so weekends only - unless its friday afternoon/evening) then i can get him to give it to them.

This is how I see it:

1) If anyone has an issue / missing parts / parts owed etc then PM him rather than type it all up here for all and sundry to see. It will also be easier for Mike to view and deal with when he can.

2) Mike - You've asked for people to do so so if you try and deal with each one personally, then that'd be appreciated. (also suggest you just deal with the issues in hand and only the issues in hand)

3) Anyone not involved / personally effected please don't stick your oars in, it only makes the whole situation more messy and harder to untangle. Only facts are needed, not personal opinions of "mates of mates of mates".

The commitee are fully aware of the situation and are gathering information from both sides. Please just don't make this more difficult for us :)

if som1 facies comeing and helping me take my engine out and do clutch and rebuild front susp/wisbones drive shafts , and recondition all brake calipers.

i have tried to contact BODELL to get mikes fiberglass bonnet picked up and well no reply's to txt's or phone calls. courior is waiting but not able to pick up after 5pm on a friday as this will then come into weekend rates which are well over the top to to let people mike is sorting things out but getting no help from the people that have held things back and wont help to sort this situation out.

wanting to be able to get collected monday to friday 9am to 4.30 is the last pick available
