random one (as always)

does anyone use a traders policy for personal use?

reason is i've got 4 cars, and its costing a fortune to insure each one, would they let me do a traders even though i'm not a 'trader' even though i buy and sell a few cars

if so who do people use?

I'm considering this . Just tried Footman James but they won't do a multicar on my classic multicars  Claimed the 21 was not eligible :crap:
I also found that the traders people weren't interested either as I wanted it mainly for road test/repair type use rather than buying and selling .....
TBH I think I'll have to go and see an old style broker rather than all this web/phone ****e searching ..

funny anoth iv just sorted mine today.. pretty much the same reasons as yours and my personal insurance keeps going up even tho im not claiming, i sorted out a trade policy earlier , i said im not a full time trader just i buy the odd car from auctions as a part time hobby. My diesal golf to renew end of this month is £710 which annoyed me, i can now have any car up to the value of £10k and 10 cars at a time fully comp and any bike tpft for £989 which i didnt think was to bad considering the evo is almost 2k to insure.
This was with the insurance factory found via google.

The only car I didn't cover was the GTA as it will be too mad  but I'm getting competition cover for that anyways .
All owned for me and me-Dawny named driver + any other me in my keeping .About £300 less that I'm paying just to cover our own motors :)

Under 25 and I think it is more of an issue ,depends what you need .
I've had a little word with the guys at GSI and suggested they have a nose on here .Could benefit both parties :agree:Give them a call though ,say MarkeyB and I sent you :agree:
Mark or Richard at GSI
