Hi dudes, just wondering what other cars (apart from the 5GTT) my alloy wheels I have for sale would fit?

Cheers

I really haven't got a clue mate. I just bought my alloys for my 5 new and didn't change them.

Thought I may as well bump this old thread to ask if these would fit ok on my 5?

I shamelessly confess to being pretty clueless when it comes to wheel fitments.:D

No the center bore is to small.

You will need to have your hubs machined down to 57.1mm or have the wheel centers bored out to 60.1

Those Zender's are lush, a bit pricey tho:eek:

better off machining the hubs so should you want to sell up you will have a wider market to sell to.

Although machining the hubs is something i haven't thought about doing before. :agree:

Thanks Logg.

That's a bit of a bummer. Hmmm, I have a friend who's a pretty hand machinist.....

I've been on machined hubs for over four years think Tommy B and Backyard Rob have been for many before me. :)

They're definitely a little pricey, but they look to be in decent condition. May have to see how much he'll budge.

Sweet. Good to hear! I've just got off the phone to my mate and he said it won't be a problem.

Also, the -20mm offset will mean they poke out another 15mm from a normal, eg, Clio, 7 inch wheel with et -35.

I meant that you should make sure they don't poke out too far to be legal, or rub on the arches.

I hear ya. :) Could be some tyres getting stretched or in the worse case scenario, custom over fenders (sorry for the 'JDM' reference).

I wish I could remember what depth my old alloys were. They definitely had at least 10mm spare...

She needed A LOT of love and I had no where to store it (parents split, sold the house). On top of that, I discovered a **** load of rot. Wanted to see her live so donated it to a guy from the club who intended to do the work... but the last I heard he broke it for bits.
