f8q 1.9 diesel bio fuel

has anyone on here managed to run their 1.9 f8q engine on vegetable oil. i have read that it will need the bosch pump and not the lucas but wanted to know of any first hand use.

technically you would need the bosch pump.... however....Dave L485 aka Dave Sibley ran a R19 TD for ages on straight veg, with apparently no ill effects. - Give dave a shout.
if you read various forums, its allegedly 20%max veg you can run with the lucas/rotocav pumps...

Good idea to change fuel filter quite regulary too. Ive seen them end up like blocks of lard.
