8oost cup mod removed

Hi all, decided to remove boost cup mod and have fitted all original actuator pipe work including metal pipe with one way valve etc. Turbo actuator rod reset to literally just holding waste gate shut. The question is now the cars boost has gone upto approximately 14psi and was 8psi before with actuator rod well tight with cup mod. Only mod still on car is enlarged turbo elbow and big exhaust system is this the cause?

The reason you got 14psi now is your using the rear port of the actuator again, its holding the actuator shut longer. Make sure your carbs ok for that boost mate. ;)

thanks mark, happy with fueling as carb was set up for 16psi long time ago, issue is wasn't wanting to boost that high and unsure why it hitting 14psi with basic setup.
