anyone tried to purchase 'show plates',since october 30th you
cant anymore,only road legal plates can be bought now,i can see
the sense as some plates are impossible to read an the letters or
numbers are made to look so differant,but kinda sucks if you just
want a 'show plate' for shows..but there yah go...bahahaha..

one of my m8's (Andy Knowles) does plates give him a call....£15-20 a pair and he will send out to you £3p+p for a pair and £1 for additional pair. think he can do most styles of plates. :cool:

Craigsplates.com are pretty good for french style plates. thats where i got mine from

Whats the deal with french plates? legal?
I know you can have black plates if your car is regestered before christ was born :rolleyes:

French plates are ilegal because there non reflective thats the reason.Ive had mine since april and been pulled once but did not notice the plates

my mates got black pressed ones on the front and white on the rear of his car and has never had any problems.
