I've managed to aquire a second carb fir my 5, my original carb is in working order and is running about 10-12 psi. The new carb is a group A jobbie but I'm unsure if it works and what jets etc it has.
I'm looking to rebuild one if them to run possibly 16-20 psi with a new carb kit off the Rtoc shop and new jets etc, which one should I use??

Is the carb on your car atm a non group a carb? If so, use that

use words like, rare, fast , 400bhp, race, loud . get noticed.. !! that goes in a lot of my ebay ads, it really does work.

You lot are funny, could sell it with a ktec bodykit to add extra bhp! Lol!!

No seriously, so the group A isn't worth keeping then?

So what bits do I need to order for a 20psi carb and where from??

Well assuming the carb is in a good state of repair you just need to jet it correctly which can be achieved with the help of an afr gauge, some micro drill bits and advice from forum guru's.

The carb was in good working order when taken from the car but I bought the carb kit off Rtoc shop anyway so might just fit that anyway,

So who's the carb guru's on here? ;)
