View Full Version : I've just bought me another Renault turbo.

It's been a few years now, but im now back behind the seat of a turbocharged Renault.

Unfortunately it's not a R5, so most of you won't bother talking to me.

Anyway its a megane 225 on a 06 plate, in the best colour (black).

Pics to follow, as soon as I figure out this iPad malarky.

Cant see why nobody would talk to you mate. This is the renault turbo owners club so they all come under that bracket. Good choice on car iv been telling the mrs i wouldnt mind one of them for our everyday car. Get it remapped ;-)

Still got the scoob Andy, she should be good for 540bhp now. I've bought the migraine as a daily too, at the minute it's doing the job well. Nice and nippy but comfortable too. Win.

Sold the golf 10 mins ago for a 3rd of what I paid 8 months ago, so I haven't lost my touch.

How you been mate ?

No mate, sold her on last year. The misses told me i had to grow up and move in with her, so we used the money from that to set ourselves up. :cry::cry::cry::cry:

Also since this thread, i owned another R5 GTT, but me being me, that also had to go almost as soon as i'd bought it. :ashamed:

The megane in this thread was stolen a couple of months back after a burglary at mine :cry:

The annoying thing was that on that weekend i had literally just had a full service carried out on it, i had had the aircon regassed, brimmed the tack with v-power and had a full valet done on it.

I got it back a few days later, but it had been in a accident and after that i wasn't interested in it anymore.

Sorry to hear about your car being stolen. :(

So the Scooby went in the end, still I stand by my post, if you sold it last year that means it still must of been your longest. :laugh:

I've been trying to get another 5 for nearly two years now and when one comes up near spec/condition what I'm looking for I end up getting messed around. :rolleyes:

Hopefully if the one I got my eye on now works out, it will be a miracle. :)
