Hello all, hope all is good.... on phase2 5gt there is a torx screw to release the steering plastic cowling situated beneath the steering wheel but its very deep inwards. What tool do you own or constuct to gain the reach? does anyone know the size of screw, and where the tool can be purchased from please??

As steve said, or treat yourself to some torx keys.
do you have a torx bit set? use an extender like the one in the link below.

Thankyou mateys :), a trip to screwfix tmrw is booked!thankyou for link and your time, that looks perfect for the job. I have tried a multi allen key which was clumbersome and didnt reach and i have torx sockets, but they are to bulbous, also tried torx screwdriver bits, but again the holder for the bit was too thick. Thankyou for the advice i really appreciate it, ive just put new subframe, wishbones and engine in quite easily and got stumped by this! Have a great weekend all and thanks again! r5ben
