I'm just wondering if my phase 1 fuel pump is going to be man enough for my efi setup? I do have a Cosworth pump, if needed, I will need a new union for it, anyone know the thread size by any chance?

IIRC I ran that pump to power the 1.8 20V turbo lump in the 5 and was fine at 270bhp

Altough could be wrong, sure someone has the stats for the pump which will confirm

Escort 044 pump has an m18 x1.5 mm inlet thread.

I doubt the ph1 pump will be up for the job for decent power really, stick the cossie pump on.

Cheers Schwartz - The one I've got is closer to 12mm, and I've tried to run the male adapter that comes out of it through an M12 x 1.5 and it won't go. The thread is too big???

Cheers Brigsy - I think someone intimated that it wouldn't do the job. I'm on the lookout for a union for the Cossie pump, or a new pump.

OK - What's a good fuel pump to be having?

How many liters per hour are needed?

What pressure does it have to cope with?

as said before chap get the bosch 044 off a cossie, its more than enough for your target power, hell the cossie boys don't change it till they go past 400bhp
