Spotted this on ebay, i'm in the market for a 5, so was wondering what some of you guys think about this?? :)

Don't look too bad at all to be honest. I would recommend going to view it as if its been sat for 10yrs i'd want to be checking under that kit.
Not too keen on the rubber strip half way up the side of the car but that'll be easy to remove
You should ask Gary aka Schwartz to take a look over it for you he lives in wallington:agree:

-4 new bearings..................
-New radiator.................properbly bunged up..........
-New master cylinder
-New slave cylinders
-New fuel pump
-New disks and pads
-Full service..leads ..filters..oil...fluids...........blades
-New heater matrix
-New shock all round
-Possibly wish bone bushes/track rods steering u/j
-A few meters of replacement 6mm pipe
please have a good look before bidding ... i think its made good money at £1500+++++++

fair play mate, hadn't really paid much thought to the work it would need doing for the MOT! all depends on the price its sitting at towards the end of the auction! Ta for the link tho :agree:

may be an ok shell but as said above gna need lots of parts to make it sweeter..
an that means some ££££££'s....

The black GT Turbo is nearing the end...as mentioned earlier, to get it through an MOT and everyday usable it would be sensible to budget up to £1500 for parts.
The car is currently sat at nearly £2000 so that is £3500 give or take to make this a goer.
