My passenger side outer cv boot is knackered , im overhauling all brakes and bearings so gona do this to.

Im a bit confused ive got a new cv boot, but i cant seem to make sense of the haynes manual lol

Do i have to remove the driveshaft from the car?

Is there anuva way to do this with a tool?

If you've got a compressor and the cv joint is in good nick, you could always get one of these

Not a cheap tool but saves a lot of time!

Cheaper option, again as long as the cv joint is good no need to take the shaft off the car.

Im liking the look of the universal stretch cv with the plastic cone looks a lot easier.

Are these any gd? My 5 only gets used lightly evry now and then wen the weathers gd so will these withstand standard power and light driving?

Used a universal one loads of times, the cone makes it so much easier putting these on, only thing I dont like is sometimes the universal boots dont come with clips to hold in place and have had to source afterwards

Used the universal cone a number of times and is spot on. Just have plenty of rags to hand as it always gets messy.
