I thought i would stick these questions in one thread as they are related to each other :
I have standard wheels and tyres on my car with a 35mm ride height drop. It sits at quite a nice height off the ground. I am getting worried as i cant seem to find anymore 195/55/13H tyres and was thinking it may be time for some 15s, i was thinking Williams alloys.
I have tried a set of 15s with 45 profile tyres on and they put the car a lot higher off the floor which i wasnt really happy with. So my questions are as follows :
1. Do Williams Clio alloys come in two different widths? 6.5 and 7.0 inch?
2. Are there any scrubbing problems with 7 inch wide alloys and 45 profile tyres?
3. If i currently have a 35mm drop and i switch to these bigger wheels plus 45 profile tyres and make the car higher, would i have to go for a 60mm lowering kit with shortened shocks to get the car back down to the height that it is now?
4. Are there any disadvantages to using/having any of the above?
:)
